Sentinel 538 Sealer/Primer Formula 538 is a water-based coating designed to seal and encapsulate odors in restoration projects. This multi-surface coating is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, offering strong adhesion and a low-odor formula with no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Available in white, clear, or natural wood finishes, it serves as an effective base coat and primer/sealer, providing excellent stain-blocking properties. Its low permeability ensures that a single coat is highly effective for most projects. Apply Sentinel 538 using an airless sprayer for best results, and clean up easily with soap and warm water.
For optimal performance, use Sentinel 538 after cleaning and treating the affected area with a quality odor remover, such as Sentinel 531 Smoke & Odor Counteractant or Sentinel 522 Smoke & Odor Cleaner & Destroyer.
