A certified restoration technician in hard hat and respirator deploying an LGR dehumidifier, axial air movers, and a moisture meter across a flooded commercial interior under low light

IICRC S500 DRYING METHOD

Size the drying job before you load the truck.

Enter the loss. Get a dehumidification, air-mover, extraction, and monitoring plan matched to in-stock Stampede units, ready to quote.

How this estimate works

This tool is a planning estimate built on published IICRC S500 methodology and the field sizing method: dehumidification by the cubic-foot per class-factor calculation, air movers by the S500 linear-foot guidance. Actual equipment counts depend on materials, HVAC, containment, and the psychrometric readings taken on site. Stampede is a distributor, not a restoration contractor. The restoration contractor makes the final determination.

The Method

From inspection to deployment

The calculator sizes the plan. Here is the full IICRC S500 workflow it feeds, from moisture mapping and equipment sizing to loading the truck.

IICRC S500 drying method: an LGR dehumidifier and axial air movers pushing glowing airflow across a gutted commercial interior while a restoration technician kneels taking a moisture reading, overlaid with the psychrometric targets the plan is sized to, vapor-pressure differential, GPP depression, and the EMC drying goal.
