Benefect Decon 30 is a one-step disinfectant cleaner designed for water damage restoration professionals. It effectively eliminates odors caused by fungi, bacteria, and other organisms on both porous and non-porous surfaces, making it ideal for remediation sites, equipment, and contents. This product utilizes the same Botanical Active Ingredient – Thymol, a component of Thyme Oil – that Benefect is known for, formulated with whole essential plant oils. Decon 30 offers a significant advantage with its rapid 30-second kill time against a broad spectrum of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli (E-coli). It’s also virucidal against Rhinovirus (the common cold virus) and Influenza A, including the Pandemic 2009 H1N1, on hard, non-porous, inanimate surfaces. Its formulation as a Food Surface Contact Sanitizer allows for decontamination of sensitive kitchen surfaces without rinsing, wiping, or leaving behind synthetic chemical residue. This economical disinfectant features a light scent and pleasant aromatherapeutic vapors, and is free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, and bleach. It requires no PPE, building evacuation, or rinsing/wiping, even on food contact surfaces. Decon 30 is compatible with Spears & FBC systems (CPVC) and is available for sale in all states.
