Fiberlock IAQ 6100 is a clear, ready-to-use mold resistant coating designed for facility managers and maintenance teams seeking to prevent mold growth on interior surfaces. This 100% acrylic water-based coating incorporates a fungistatic agent to inhibit mold development on the dry coating surface.
IAQ 6100 offers durability and flexibility, making it suitable for a variety of substrates including wood, plaster, wallboard, sheetrock, concrete, masonry block, and primed or galvanized metal. Independent laboratory testing, conducted according to ASTM G-21 and ASTM D-3273, confirms its mold resistance. The coating’s permeability allows for vapor transmission, which can help prevent blistering and peeling.
Available in a 5-gallon pail with a 3-year shelf life, IAQ 6100 provides coverage of 250-400 square feet per gallon on porous surfaces and 350-600 square feet per gallon on smooth surfaces. It dries to the touch in approximately one hour and can be recoated within 4-8 hours.
