Benefect Decon 30 is a one-step disinfectant cleaner designed for water damage restoration professionals. This botanical disinfectant effectively eliminates odors caused by fungi, bacteria, and other organisms on both porous and non-porous surfaces, making it ideal for remediation sites, equipment, and contents. It kills over 99.99% of bacteria in just 30 seconds, a significant advantage over typical disinfectants requiring longer contact times. Formulated with the same Botanical Active Ingredient—Thymol, a component of Thyme Oil—as other Benefect products, Decon 30 offers a unique approach using whole essential plant oils. It’s effective against Staphylococcus aureus (Staph), Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli (E-coli), and also virucidal against Rhinovirus (the common cold virus) and Influenza A (including Pandemic 2009 H1N1) on hard, non-porous, inanimate surfaces.
